Led by a strong clinical background and supported by our in-house Complex Care Nurse, Josie, we bring both expertise and heart to everything we do.

Louise Hamill

Managing Director

About Louise

After working as a doctor in hospitals throughout the Central Belt, Louise founded Hamill Homecare in 2016. She wanted to create a care service where staff have the time, training and confidence to deliver the highest standards of personalised support to every client.

Cathy McGinty

Office Manager

About Cathy

After a long Civil Service career, Cathy left retirement behind for a new challenge at Hamill Homecare almost six years ago. She now handles admin and finance, keeps the office organised and occasionally treats colleagues to her famous homemade soup.

Laura Gargaro

Care Co-Ordinator

About Laura

Former NHS charge nurse Laura tried property development before returning to care as Hamill Homecare’s Care Co-Ordinator. She creates tailored care plans, manages assessments and risks and ensures every client receives support designed around their individual needs and preferences.

Josie Rooney

Complex Care Nurse

About Josie

As Hamill Homecare’s Complex Care Nurse, Josie leads assessments, designs tailored care plans and trains carers in advanced skills. She ensures safe, effective support for clients with long-term conditions, from ventilation and PEG tube care to medication management and monitoring.

Cara Cleland

Office Administrator

About Cara

Since 2021, Office Administrator Cara has been the heart of Hamill Homecare’s Glasgow HQ. With a background in law firm admin, she supports clients, staff and partners, bringing energy, organisation and occasional visits from her lively puppy Riley.

Maria Maxwell

Rota Co-Ordinator

About Maria

Maria manages rotas, training schedules and day-to-day communication between carers, clients and managers. Her organisational skills and experience with care planning systems ensure smooth operations, helping the team deliver consistent, high-quality support to every client.

We reward loyalty by looking after our team. This means our clients are supported by a stable, trusted team, not a revolving door of
unfamiliar faces.

We support individuals aged 17+ with a wide range of care needs, including medically complex conditions. Our carers are handpicked, well-trained, and always ready to go the extra mile.
