What we are looking for:

We’re seeking a highly organised individual with experience in rota management, to join our office team as a Rota Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for managing the staff rota for our care services, ensuring all visits are covered and staff are matched appropriately based on skills and client needs. Currently, Hamill Homecare delivers approximately 700 hours of care per week – this is a dynamic and rewarding role at the heart of our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the rota and working to monthly deadlines
  • Managing staff annual leave, absences, and arranging appropriate cover
  • Liaising with clients and carers about daily schedule changes
  • Planning and coordinating staff training
  • Communicating regularly with the care team and clients
  • Supporting the Registered Manager with business growth and care run planning
  • Submitting offers for new care packages
  • Assisting with recruitment of new care staff
  • Liaising with staffing agencies when external cover is required

Candidates must have experience in rota coordination or a similar administrative role.

Experience in Care Planner/Nourish or similar rota planning software preferred.

You should be confident working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Base Salary: £32,000 per year (plus additional for on call)
